Fonio: An African Ancient Grain

Fonio, an ancient grain known by many as ‘the grain of life’, is one of Africa’s best-kept secrets. Its history can be traced back to the 14th century. Traditionally a prestigious ingredient used in religious ceremonies and gourmet dishes across the Sahel, it’s now best known for its health benefits.
